Sixty-five percent of the imported LNG is used for power generation customers, while the remaining 35% is allocated to town gas customers Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan and Hong Kong. The Guangdong LNG Project will play an important role in easing energy supply demands in large parts of Guangdong Province. Meanwhile, the supply of this clean and cost-effective energy to Guangdong and Hong Kong would result in a cleaner environment across the region.
