Guangdong LNG Terminal and Trunkline Project, which is the core of the Guangdong LNG Project, is constructed and operated by Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd. The major construction projects include a receiving and re-gasification terminal which takes up a land area of around 40 hectares, and a more than 400km transmission trunkline which runs through 5 cities in the Pearl River Delta. |

The total investment of Phase I of the LNG Terminal and Trunkline Project exceeds RMB 8 billion. The designed annual turnover capacity is 3.7 million tons of LNG. The project began its construction by the end of 2003 and after two and half years had completed a month in advance as scheduled. The first cargo of LNG had been received on May 26, 2006 and the project had been put into commercial operation by the end of September, 2006. |
